Nutrition and recovery: new services at Next Step Reformer Studio

TL;DR: Alongside reformer pilates, Next Step now offers consultations with registered nutritionist Jovana Srejić Ferluga and professional relaxing and sports massage. Training, nutrition and recovery — a complete approach under one roof.

What has changed at the studio

For a long time we heard the same feedback from clients: the training is going well, but nutrition and recovery remain the unfinished part. We decided to change that.

From now on, Next Step Reformer Studio at Tašmajdan offers two new services — consultations with a registered nutritionist and professional massage.

Jovana Srejić Ferluga — registered nutritionist

Jovana is a specialist in personalised nutrition and public health, with years of experience building individual nutrition plans and advising clients. She works at the Rašić internal medicine practice in Belgrade.

Her approach is not a diet — it is understanding your body and building habits that last.

What a consultation gives you

  • An assessment of your current habits — what you eat, when and why
  • A personalised nutrition plan aligned with your training and your goals
  • An education in the macro and micronutrients that directly affect strength, recovery and energy
  • Ongoing support while you make the change

Why nutrition is part of training, not an add-on

Reformer pilates builds strength and mobility — but a body that is not getting enough protein will not build muscle no matter how many classes it does. A body short on magnesium will cramp. A body eating too much processed food will carry the inflammation that slows recovery down.

Training and nutrition are not two separate stories. Jovana helps you join them up.

Next Step — relaxing and sports massage

Massage stopped being a luxury a long time ago. For anyone training regularly it is part of recovery — as much as sleep and food are.

What is available

Relaxing massage

  • Full body (60 min) — 3,500 RSD
  • Partial (30 min) — 3,000 RSD

Sports massage

  • Full body (60 min) — 4,000 RSD
  • Partial (30 min) — 3,500 RSD

The difference between relaxing and sports massage

Relaxing massage lowers stress and tension, improves circulation and the quality of your sleep. A good choice if your body feels stiff from sitting or you are under more stress than usual.

Sports massage works deeper — it targets specific muscle groups, breaks down adhesions and speeds up recovery after harder training. If you have pain that keeps coming back in the same spots, sports massage addresses it directly.

Reformer pilates plus a sports massage once a week is one of the most effective protocols for people who sit eight hours or more a day.

Looking after the whole body, in one place

At one address (Kraljice Marije 9, Tašmajdan) you can now:

  • Train on the reformers with certified instructors
  • Talk through your nutrition with a registered nutritionist
  • Recover with professional massage

Each of these is worth something on its own. Together, they build a system that produces lasting results.
